I enjoy cooking for friends and family. As much appreciation I get for my cooking from friends and family, most who have seen me cooking admire my creativity. They think I can always drum up something with only available ingredients. Yet they complaint that I do not follow recipes nor they can replicate any of my chaotic cooking. To change the latter perception, I have been using my spare time to create some of my favorite recipe videos.
Main reason to start it was my own children’s need. In addition, friends of my children often ask me for recipes. Kids of this generation are nutrition-aware, independent and instead of going out, prefer healthy home food. Because this way they know what they are eating. It is pleasure for me when they make a traditional dish for themselves and their friends. I did not cook in India. What I cook is what I learned from dinner invites, good cooks and my own desire to eat good food to feed the same to my family and friends.
